Camping is frowned upon apart from on the designated sites of which there are several with some listed below.

Buses meet the boats at the port.

Located just beyond Aghia Anna at the start of Plaka.  Loads of tavernas, bars, shops within a few paces.

BABOUNI St Georges Beach

Situated in the town of Naxos just a few minutes from St Georges and close to the market, banks and Post Office.  Ideally situated for a wonderful holiday.  A small family run hotel with16 twin bedded rooms (singles and triples available).  Also seven A Class studios, fully furnished with a small kitchen.  All rooms have private bathrooms, shower, WC, heat, telephone and most with balcony.  downstairs, a comfortable breakfast room cum bar and patio flower garden with chairs and tables to relax in the evening.  Michaelis Margaritis speaks good English and makes every effort to make your stay enjoyable.  He meets the ferry boat to take you and your luggage to and from the hotel with the Babouni minbus.
