Promponas - The Old Square

"Since 1915, Promponas, wine and liqueur makers, have been producing the local Naxos liqueur - Citron.  An extract from the leaves of the citron tree - a sort of wild lemon tree - made without any chemical preservatives, with an unique taste and heady aroma.  We also select the best grapes from all over Naxos and produce the local wines of Promponas.  Two distinct types of wine are Bacchus and Ariadne,  We also offer delicious traditional preserves, made from fruits with all their natural fragrances kept in their appealing package.
